In a survey conducted in June 2024 in Delhi, India, 43 percent of the respondents stated that their air conditioners at home were ineffective in reducing the ambient temperature to 23-24 degrees Celsius. During the summer, Delhi experienced one of the worst heat waves in many years, with peak temperatures reaching 52.9 degrees Celsius.
